When I first started Freediving in 2000 I found that it was very hard to find a proper wetsuit for Freediving in North America, especially being a woman. I tried many different suits from Spearfishing companies but nothing can compare to what my first suit with Yamamoto 45 neoprene felt and performed like.
My Yamamoto wetsuits fit like a second layer of skin. It is so flexible and warm that I feel like it is my own skin. I wore suits made of Yamamoto 45 neoprene for all seven of my world records. I tell all of my students that once they try a suit made from Yamamoto 45, they will never be able to wear another suit again. I don’t know of anyone that would disagree with that.

I put on my first Yamamoto 45 smooth skin wetsuit in 2008 and have been wearing them ever since. Yamamoto 45 neoprene has helped propel me to 3 world records and 14 national records in freediving.
The extra flexibility and warmth of the Yamamoto brand is unparalleled.
I never risk wearing another neoprene. I love the product and will continue to enjoy it's benefits in the coming years!

I prefer Yamamoto #45 neoprene because of the feel; both underwater and while donning my suit.

A wetsuit is the most important piece of equipment for any freediver. And, there is nothing better than a wetsuit made out of Yamamoto 45.

The Yamamoto #45 neoprene laminated by Super Stretch 4000 is by far the best option for any recreational freediver or spearfisherman.
Having rubbed my suit on rocks and knocked it in to sharp corners on boats by accident, I am amazed that such a soft and flexible material can hold up without tearing.
It's the same grade material competitive free divers wear, but customized with recreation in mind.
The Super Stretch 4000 on the rubber allows me to wear this suit with confidence of durability in any cold water environment, day in and day out.

I have been diving for over 40 years. Through the years I have used many different wetsuits, have seen the evolution of the quality of Neoprene change to what is currently considered the best in the world....Yamamoto neoprene. Yamamoto Neoprene is by far the warmest, most comfortable neoprene yet! I have used it all over the world from frigid waters of Massachusetts to tropical waters of Indonesia and everywhere else in between. The new Yamamoto 45 is so warm, and comfortable that it enables me to be much more stealthy in my quest to hunt trophy fish.
I have used wetsuits with Yamamoto neoprene while setting 5 spearfishing worlds records including the new Yamamoto 45 with this new pending world record Bream, Humpnose Big-Eye (Mu).
I only use Yamamoto neoprene in my wetsuits. Thank you for such a great product!

I love the ocean and live for the thrill of the hunt, but I want to be comfortable in the water. That’s why I wear wetsuits made with Yamamoto.
